Server Manager offers a command-line tool—ServerManagerCmd.exe—that automates the deployment of roles and features on computers running Windows Server® 2008.

You can use ServerManagerCmd.exe to install and to remove roles, role services, and features. ServerManagerCmd.exe parameters also display a list of all roles, role services, and features both installed and available for installation on the computer.
